If one of your agents moves to another brokerage, resigns, or is terminated, you can complete the transfer or termination of the agent’s registration in MyWeb.

If the agent is still registered under their former brokerage, termination details will be required to complete the transfer.

How do I complete a transfer of registration?

  1. Log in to your MyWeb account.
  2. Go to the “Employees” tab and select “Transfer Employee”
  3. You will need the following information:
    • the RECO registration number of the agent you are transferring
    • written notice of the termination provided to/by the agent (to be uploaded)
    • confirmation of whether the brokerage or the agent initiated the termination
    • the effective date of the transfer*
    • the effective date of the termination (if not already terminated)
    • the date the termination notice was provided

Transfers must be processed within 60 days of the effective date of the termination, and the transfer effective date cannot be backdated more than 30 days from the current date. Transfer dates cannot be post-dated.

If the agent is still registered at the time transfer is completed, their former brokerage will be notified by email.

You and the agent will receive an email notification once the transfer is completed.
